Annette Orendain

Annette Orendain earned her Bachelor of Science in Geology and Biology, with an emphasis on Oceanography and Plate Tectonics through Texas A&M University. After working as a Scientist for many years she decided to teach Science and Math. She has enjoyed teaching Kindergarten – Twelfth grades, and feels at home with her students enthusiasm and curiosity to learn. Ms. Orendain enjoys the opportunity to combine her passions for children and bilingual education at JCS Cedar Cove.  

She is the mother of two: Natalia – Doctor in Neuroscience and Tomas – Creative Developer through Architecture & Interior Design. When not in the classroom, she can be found spending time with family and friends down at the ocean or hiking our wonderful trails.  She also lived in Mexico for six years and loves their culture and heart. She loves sharing her passions with our JCS Family!
